Counselling

Depression

Depression affects the way one feels about oneself, and the way one thinks about things. It is not a sign of personal weakness.

People with a depressive illness cannot merely “pull themselves together” and get better.  They need someone to journey with them.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a normal response that we experience in daily life. However, when such feelings are intense and sustained over a period of time, it can lead to an anxiety disorder that can interfere with one’s day-to-day living. The impact can be devastating and disruptive to that person’s personal, emotional, social, physical and occupational life.

Psychological intervention, enhance problem-solving skills and ongoing supportive counselling may be helpful.

Coaching

Life Transition Coaching

Life transitions consist of an ending, an in-between neutral zone and a new beginning. To deal successfully with transitions, Life Transition Coach will help you to let go of an old situation, manage the confusion and instability between old and new, and shape your new future in a safe and supportive environment.

Grief and Loss

Loss is very much a part of life. When we hear the phrase “grief and loss”, we tend to think of death and dying. But there are many kinds of losses. There can be loss of relationship, jobs, home, youth, responsibilities health and even pets.

Such losses can evoke equally strong sense of grief and deep sadness. Getting professional help can help a person develop greater coping resources.
